Description

DF83V — Variable speed, brushless DC motor and true low retention

The DF83V is the next level in the single-dose class: 83 mm flat burrs, a powerful brushless DC motor, and variable speed (RPM) for fine-tuning your flavour profile. The horizontal body with a vertical burr assembly minimises retention, while the built-in plasma generator (ioniser) eliminates static for a clean, consistent shot. Ideal for the home and small specialty coffee bars seeking control, repeatability, and speed.

Who is it for?

• Advanced home baristas and coffee bars wanting control over RPM and extraction.
• Espresso-focused setups, including light roasts, where high torque is critical.
• Users experimenting with different 83 mm burrs (espresso/filter) and recipes.

Low retention

Low retention means never mixing yesterday's coffee with freshly ground beans. The result: fresher flavour, stable extraction, and consistent shots/drinks. The single-dose design with bellows helps purge any remaining grounds from the chamber after grinding.

Anti-static plasma generator (ioniser)

The plasma generator neutralises static electricity before the coffee leaves the exit chute. This means fewer clumps, less mess, and easier distribution into the portafilter basket or dosing cup.

Variable Speed + Stepless adjustment

Combine the flexibility of variable RPM (300–1600) with precise, stepless grind size adjustment. Test lower speeds for tighter particle size distribution in pour-over/filter, or higher speeds for fast espresso throughput – you are in control.

Burrs and motor

• 83 mm flat burrs – consistent extraction.
• 680 W brushless DC motor – high torque, quieter operation, and a long lifespan.

Workflow and maintenance

• Anti-popcorn lid – prevents beans from bouncing for smooth, consistent feeding.
• Bellows (blow-out) – quickly purges remaining grounds for true low retention.
• Metal dosing cup – wide compatibility and a clean workflow.
• Simple, robust mechanics – fewer unnecessary components, fewer points of failure.
• Optimised grind chamber – fewer dead zones, easier cleaning.

Warranty

• 2-year warranty.
• Standard packaging with protective foam.
